Learn Through Play: A Parent & Child Workshop

Learn Through Play: A Parent & Child Workshop is a hands-on learning experience designed to help families turn everyday play into meaningful educational moments.

During this 3-hour guided workshop, parents and children will explore interactive learning stations together while discovering simple, effective strategies that support early literacy, math development, confidence-building, and independent learning.

Led in collaboration with Learning with LaWanda, this workshop blends play-based learning with practical teaching techniques parents can immediately use at home.

Families will:

✔ Explore guided learning stations designed for ages 2–8

✔ Learn how play supports brain development and academic readiness

✔ Discover easy ways to build literacy and math skills through everyday activities

✔ Gain tools to create simple learning routines at home

✔ Support confidence, focus, and independence in young learners

Children engage through purposeful play while parents receive real-time guidance, demonstrations, and coaching in a safe, engaging environment.

This workshop is ideal for parents who are homeschooling, homeschooling-curious, or simply want to support their child’s learning in a more intentional way.

Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about continued learning support, including virtual tutoring and future learning extensions hosted at Peachy Pals.
