The celebration returns bigger, louder, and prouder than ever! Join us in downtown Cartersville for the 5th Annual Black History Parade, the most entertaining parade in Bartow County. This year’s lineup is packed with excitement and cultural pride as we honor our past, celebrate our present, and uplift our future.
🎉 What to Expect in the Parade:
-Creative floats honoring Black history
-Divine 9 Greek-letter organization representation
-Car clubs & motorcycle clubs
-Dance teams bringing the energy
-Show-style marching bands that will keep the streets rocking
🛣 Parade Route:
The parade will start at the Tabernacle Baptist Church parking lot, then proceed:
Right on Douglas Street → Right on Church Street → Left on Erwin Street → Right on Cherokee Avenue → Left on Bartow Street → Left on Main Street → Left on Tennessee Street → returning to Tabernacle.

Once the final float passes, the celebration continues at Friendship Plaza! Enjoy:
-A showcase of amazing Black-owned businesses
-Inspiring guest speakers
-Live music performances
-A community resource fair featuring local nonprofits
-And of course… a line dance party with DJ Lah-Shae setting the vibes!
