The end of mining by 1992 left, in what it was a really busy village up to then, plenty of vestiges of an era when Portmán’s bay was the center of a feverish activity. In this hiking tour you’ll be not only enjoying the strange but captivating beauty of the surrounding area, but also learning about the steps that led the town to become the capital of what once became known as the Southern European California, such was the amount of the wealth obtained in its vicinity, and exported thru its harbour to, for instance, Great Britain.
