“Three lifetimes for the yew for the world from its beginning to its end.”
—Book of Lismore
Every ancient yew tree represents an embodied expression of the generative and healing potency of Eternity. The oldest known word for the yew is the Hittite Eya, 1750 BCE. Eya means ‘eternity,’ and by extension ‘to be touched by eternity.’
2000 years ago, at least half of the British Isles and large parts of mainland Europe were populated by yew tribes. The yew tree was also held sacred in the Americas, particularly in the Pacific Northwest where local tribes were known to have worked with the medicinal properties of the yew.
All of these yew tribes recognized that ‘to be touched’ by a yew ignited healing, wholeness and a re-connection with Source.
During the early 1990’s, Michael, while facing death, was called to one such ancient female yew tree in his homeland of Scotland. Over a period of 9 + years, the yew not only restored his health but provided him with the living template for a renewed form of the Yew Mysteries.
For 20 years, Michael worked with the yew to bring this template into the modern world, first in Wales, then in Scotland and the Pacific Northwest, USA.
In this 2-day workshop, Michael will share some of the mystery teachings of the yew as well as a series of healing and perceptual practices that will support us ‘to be touched’ by the eternity of a sacred yew tree.
Fee included workshop only. You are responsible for your own food, travel, camping, or accommodations. Space is limited.
