You are invited to join Families Against Wrong Way Drivers (FAWWD) for the 8th Annual 5K Run/Walk in memory of Anthony D. Thompson. Together, we will honor Anthony’s legacy while uniting as a community to create safer roads and brighter futures.
Our Mission
FAWWD exists to prevent tragedies caused by drunk and wrong-way driving and to invest in the next generation through education. Proceeds from this year’s event will go directly to academic scholarships awarded by the Officer Anthony Thompson Foundation, supporting deserving students in their pursuit of higher education.
Why It Matters
In a single moment, a wrong-way driver can change lives forever. Mama Koko, who lost her only son Anthony to such a preventable tragedy, knows this pain all too well. By standing together, we can raise awareness, educate our community, and work toward ending this cycle of loss—so that no more families suffer such immeasurable heartbreak.
