This training will discuss how children learn and why sensory activities are crucial to children's development. We will explore the five senses, sensory avoidance and sensory seeking behaviors while relating the information to how we plan learning centers.
Training Objectives:
1 . By the end of this session, the learner will understand how children learn and why sensory activities are critical to development.
2 . By the end of this session, the learner will Identify the 5 Senses and how to incorporate them into learning centers.
3 . By the end of this session, the learner will Understand the basics of Sensory Processing Disorder.
