Beatrice (Bea) and Pete Lewis long to experience the counterculture movement they missed in their youth. They find a second chance at a retro-themed retirement community, where they encounter a free-spirited hippie, a staunch activist, a Vietnam veteran, and a former rock idol.
When management imposes new rules, indignation rises among the residents, igniting their desire to protest. Caught in the middle of this is the couple’s son, a high-powered attorney, who faces a perplexing situation: When did Mom become such a radical?
Bea’s arrest turns out to be a calculated move by management, serving as a ruse to plunge her into the '60s and '70s scene she missed the first time around.
"Social Insecurity" is a humorously groovy tribute to living life to the fullest, wrapped in a nostalgic nod to an unforgettable era. Co-directed by Asa Olsson & Leslie V. AnnRenee
