The Puerto Rico Hotel and Tourism Association was founded in 1950 with the vision of helping to develop Puerto Rico's potential in the hotel and tourism industries. Seventy-five years have passed, and the Association has achieved its goal: Puerto Rico has become a destination enjoyed by thousands of people each year. Additionally, these industries currently employ 90,000 Puerto Ricans and have over 400 corporate members.
