Hi Everyone,
Please plan to join us next Tuesday night (October 7th) for the October Membership Meeting of the Carolina Beach Inlet Association, 6PM at American Legion Post 129 in Carolina Beach.
I think the Town of CB has an event this night as well, so we may not see our elected officials at this meeting.
Hopefully Bryan (New Hanover County Shore Protection) can inform us about our next dredge event, and I will have the most most recent print out of current inlet conditions.
Additionally, I hope we have some there who have been in the inlet and can share their experience. I have no first hand info of what conditions are like at the moment.
Everyone is welcome to attend, whether you are a Member, a Past Member, an area Business Owner, Recreational Fishermen, Boat Captain, or simply someone that shares our interest in maintaining the navigation and safety of Carolina Beach Inlet. Plans are to meet at 6:00pm for our social mixer, the meeting itself will start promptly at 6:30pm.
Board Member Jarvis Wise has been busy on our Governmental Affairs Committee, and I expect he will have an update on his efforts and coming activities.
We will have a report from Annette Winner regarding our most recent events related to the 100th anniversary, as well as last weekends King Mackerel tournament. Additionally, our Christmas Party (The Capt. Mike Britt Shrimperoo) for PAID Members is now scheduled and will occur December 6, 2025 at 1PM. This event alone is worth EVERY penny of your $50 Associate Membership Dues, and even those who pay Full Membership Dues of $100 annually. We hope you will renew! Annette has assumed Tim Ludgate's food responsibility for our meetings and events. She is considering doing a lasagna, and a local restaurant has offered to provide something for us. More to follow as it comes together, but if you are coming, please RSVP here.
