July Paddle: Shark Tooth & Keg Island

Our third Saturday paddle series is back 𝘢𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘢𝘵! 🛶 Join us on Saturday, July 19th as we paddle out and back to Shark Tooth and Keg Island. We will meet at 8 a.m. at River Road Park to begin our adventure to this uninhabited stretch of islands. These islands dates back to the 1800s, created by dredging to make the river more easily accessible for large vessels. They are now full of island flora and their position at the river’s mouth washes in a wealth of natural treasures from historical artifacts to their namesake, shark’s teeth!
