39th Annual Carolina Beach Music Festival

The Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the 39th Annual Carolina Beach MusicFest on Saturday, June 7, 2025 (Beach Music) and {new} Sunday, June 8th, 2025 (Reggae)!

The Carolina Beach MusicFest brings with it a cherished history that began eight decades ago. Back in the 1940’s, just over the bridge from Carolina Beach, was a community known as Sea Breeze, the rightful birthplace of “beach music” - the genesis of a sound that transformed the musical soundscape of the south.

Whether you come to shag (dance) in the warm sands or just sit back and enjoy the live beach music, this event offers something for all ages. The festival takes place on the Carolina Beach Boardwalk and is the longest running beach music festival in the United States that is still held on a beach!

This year we are proud to add a second day of music featuring reggae!
