This month at The Connection Point, we’re focusing on Holiday Help.
While most community programs offering Christmas gift assistance have already closed their application periods, the need for support doesn’t end there. With school-aged children home for winter break and holiday meals to prepare, many families feel added pressure when it comes to groceries, meal planning, and stretching their budgets.
At this session, our team will share current resources, practical tools, and helpful meal solutions to make this season feel a little more manageable. We’ll be talking about:
- Ways to keep meals affordable during winter break
- Local Holiday resources still available
- Budget-friendly holiday meal ideas
- Providing meal recipe cards
To make the support even more hands-on, we’ll also be sending every attendee home with recipe cards — simple, family-friendly dishes that focus on low-cost ingredients and easy preparation. These cards are meant to empower families with ideas that are accessible, comforting, and doable, even on a tight budget.
The Connection Point is all about showing up for our community with compassion, practical help, and real solutions — and we can’t wait to welcome you this December.
