MAKE LEMONADE 2025: All-Girl Annual Picnic with Good Vibes & Strides

Good Vibes & Strides is turning One...and what a year it has been! Over 100 girls signed up for our very first walk last May and we have continued to grow with each event (we had to start capping our walks when we reached over 500 girls on our 5th one!). We are SO THANKFUL for the community we have built - TOGETHER. And...we are just getting started...

In celebration of our birthday, we are also starting a new tradition: an all-girl picnic called "Make Lemonade." This isn't just a little picnic, either...we expect it to be the LARGEST All-Girl Picnic in Sacramento! Trust us when we say: it's going to be a VIBE.

Invite your friends, mother, sister, daughter or, like all of our events, come by yourself and make new friends! We promise you may come alone, but you won't sit alone! We have a community of women ready and waiting to meet and eat with YOU!

Things to Note:

• Bring your own blanket and food...we will be feasting together!
• Our picnic begins at 10am, so feel free to pack for Brunch.
• This event is FREE but it requires a $7 parking pass (cash & card accepted).
• You must register for the event. It will sell out. You do not need to register children.
• Event location and details will be emailed to registrants. Please use an active email.

About the Name:

"Make Lemonade." comes from the saying "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade." Good Vibes & Strides was formed by Jennifer Kidwell after she was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. This autoimmune disease was hard on her body and mental state, as she was not able to work out like she was used to. So she began walking...and then thought others might want to walk with her. The rest is history!

Let this be a reminder that when we are faced with something difficult, we have the opportunity to turn it into something GOOD. And then spread those Good Vibes...
