A SPECIAL CREATE WHAT YOU CRAVE INSPIRATION SESSION ON THE SECOND SATURDAY IN MAY

Saturday, May 10 | 4pm

Join us for an inspiring evening exploring the powerful connection between creativity, the arts, and mental health.

This panel-style event will bring together local creatives, artists, and community voices to share real, honest conversations about how creativity can be both a tool for expression and a pathway to healing.

Together, we’ll talk about the challenges, the breakthroughs, and the role art and creativity can play in supporting mental well-being — both personally and within our communities.

The evening includes a live panel conversation with local creatives + community leaders:

  • : Devon stewards the inclusion and community partnership initiatives at the Indiana Repertory Theatre after eight years of service at the Madam Walker Legacy Center. Ginn is also a board member for NYC-based BlackSpace Urbanist Collective and the Indiana Writers Center. This Indianapolis native was awarded fellowships with Americans for the Arts, the NEA, the Indiana Arts Commission, and the Indy Arts Council. Ginn is a licensed 200-hour yoga and meditation teacher, a sound alchemist with Invoke Studio & Aura Self & Soul Care, and a published poet. Ginn's current artistic practice investigates the cultural politics of respectability, the built environment, and bodily autonomy through the lens of defiant joy and mindfulness.
  • : Keaton is a licensed therapist and art therapist serving as the Arts-Based Wellness Experiences Manager at Indiana University’s Eskenazi Museum of Art. In this role, Keaton designs and leads innovative arts-based wellness initiatives that support mental health and well-being across campus. Prior to joining Indiana University, Keaton provided therapeutic services as a child and family therapist in rural Indiana, addressing complex issues related to addiction, trauma, and mental health in children and adults. Keaton holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a Psychology minor and a Master’s degree in Art Therapy, both from Indiana University – Indianapolis (formerly IUPUI).
