Sketching at the National Botanic Garden Wales

The July Mountain Air Artists meet up and #sketch session will be on Saturday 12th July. Meet at #TheNationalBotanicGarden at 10am and stay as long as you want.

The Botanic Garden is an amazing place. If you’ve not been before, you’re in for a treat.

Cost:
Although the group is free, you’ll need to pay the entry free for the garden which is £16.85 for an adult (excluding gift aid).

What to bring:
You’ll need your sketchbook or a pad, pen/ pencil or whatever medium you prefer to use. And sometimes you need an umbrella or waterproofs and sometimes a hat and sun cream. If you prefer to sit while sketching, then you can bring along a fold up chair but there is lots of seating around the garden. You might want to bring a packed lunch but there are cafes at the garden. (The garden is bin free so you have to take any rubbish home).
