SD Fixit Clinic in Carlsbad (Cole Library)

Bring your broken, non-working items—electronics, appliances, computers, toys, bicycles, clothes, and more—for assessment, disassembly, and possible repair. We'll provide workspace, specialty tools, and guidance to help you take apart and troubleshoot your item. Even if we can't fix it, you'll learn more about how it was made and how it works.

Our October event's theme will be Halloween. Not only are we fixing your broken stuff, but we will also teach you how to sew a cape or trick-or-treat bag from secondhand fabric hosted by Clicbitz and a Halloween Costume Swap. You can get a refresher on your Halloween gear by bringing in your gently used and clean costume and swapping it for another one hosted by I Love A Clean San Diego. Don't miss this opportunity for this family-friendly, ghoulishly fun event.
