📣Calling all homeschooling families! This day is just for you!
Planning a field trip? Want to join like minded families?
Here's what we have in store for you on Wednesday, October 1st:
✔️Admission $12/person ages 3 and up. Children 2 and under are free.
✔️Admission MUST be paid in CASH to receive the discount. All other purchases can be made with cash or card.
✔️Small carrot cup & parakeet stick INCLUDED with each paid admission!
✔️Must check in before 2 pm to receive special admission
✔️No reservation needed
✔️No group minimum
🤩Special guests-
🪲Nicholas and Mason County Extension Cooperative-Featuring Critters in the Creek! Explore the ecosystem in the creek and discover how each bug contributes to the creeks health. Will also have a display of live bugs they can learn about.
📚Mason County Public Library-Will have a display of dissection models, homeschool curriculum and their themed backpack program. They have loads of information and resources for you!
PLUS:
🐢Wildlife Shows at 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm
🛝Zipline and expanded playground-fun never ends
🌲Explore Daniel Boone's cabin-his last home in Kentucky
💎Gem mining in the creek-find fossils and gems
🌭Cookie's Cafe open 11-4:30. Kids meal includes a hot dog, drink, chips AND a souvenir frisbee!
🧺Pack a lunch and enjoy at one of our many picnic tables around the zoo.
🚫No public schools scheduled for Homeschool Day!
