About the Artists
Heidi Talbot and Boo Hewerdine have been recording and touring together extensively since Heidi’s first solo UK tour in 2005. This year marks 25 years of Heidi as a professional singer, and to celebrate, she is embarking on a special tour with her favourite musical companion and acclaimed songwriter, Boo Hewerdine.
Heidi has released a compilation album featuring tracks from her last five solo records, with her most recent album, Sing it for a Lifetime, recorded during lockdown with world-class musicians across multiple time zones. Heidi’s career highlights include collaborations and performances with Mark Knopfler, Graham Coxon (Blur), Idlewild, King Creosote, Tim O’Brien and Jerry Douglas. She has also been nominated for Folk Singer of the Year at both the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and the Irish Music Awards.
Boo Hewerdine, a long-time collaborator and Ivor Novello award-nominated songwriter, is known for his work with artists such as Chris Difford (Squeeze), kd lang, Kris Drever, Duke Special, and Eddi Reader. Together, Heidi and Boo bring a mix of heartfelt storytelling, stunning vocals, and warm, intimate performances.
