Wednesday 26th November: Face Fit - train the tester
This is a full day course which is for supervisors or anyone running an induction.
Its designed to ensure that respiratory protective equipment (RPE) is correctly fitted and used to protect workers from airborne hazards. The course covers the following key aspects:
* Conducting Qualitative Face Fit Tests: Participants learn how to perform tests to determine if RPE fits the wearer properly and provides an effective seal.
* Understanding RPE Requirements: The course provides guidance on the importance of RPE, its regulations, and key concepts.
* Practical Training: Attendees complete both theoretical and practical assessments to demonstrate competence before certification is awarded. 1
* Legal Compliance: The course ensures that participants are aware of the legal requirements for face fit testing and the importance of maintaining compliance.
*Course Delivery Options: Training can be delivered on-site or as an open course, with flexible options to suit different workplace needs.
