Aerial Calisthenics- August workshop with Emma

Love yoga? Love fitness? Want to get even stronger and learn ways to skyrocket your stamina as well as functional strength?

Join Em for this interesting workshop where he will mix together strength drills, calisthenic body weight movements and full body strengthening yoga postures all with the support of the hammock.

We will work on-
Flips and tricks,
Hanstands, headstand and forearm balance,
Lsits and pull ups,
Inversions and core,
Upper and lower body drills.

The hammock is like a helping hand giving you the ability to try strength moves that may be too much on the mat- for example one leg in the hammock whilst practising a handstand is much easier then handstanding in the middle of the room on your yoga mat!

So let the support of the hammock be your guide as you enjoy this mix up class.

Strength drills are usually repeated over reps but fear not- there will be relaxing stretches in-between where you can catch your breath, stretch out and relax the muscles you’ve been working and as always Em will offer options throughout the entire class.

This means you can take it as easy or as hard as you want!
