This is shaping up to be an amazing event! A Day of Ginawaydaganuc on Saturday, June 7th 2025, 10 am to 6 pm
In partnership with the Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority
LOCATION: Mill of Kintail Conservation Area - 2854 Ramsey Concession 8, Almonte, ON K0A 1A0

Please join us for a wonderful day of community, learning and celebration! Experience the vision for Ginawaydaganuc Village through the eyes of our traditional Elders and Knowledge Carriers.

- A Blanket Exercise led by Elder John Henri Commanda
- “Dish With One Spoon” treaty teaching and birch bark build led by Elder Chuck Commanda
- Natural law and medicine wheel teachings led by Elder Barb Brant
- Two-eyed seeing and ethical space training Elder Larry McDermott
- Informal sacred fireside chats with the Elders (weather permitting)
- Sustainable building models and demonstrations
- Mini-workshops for kids
- Art and food vendors
- A free concert with a variety of contemporary and traditional Indigenous entertainers

GENERAL ADMISSION IS FREE. (DONATIONS ARE HUGELY APPRECIATED https://ginawaydaganuc.ca/donate )
