Tom Rasmussen + Alfie Sharp

As part of this year’s Cardiff Music City Festival we are excited to announce that Tom Rasmussen and Alfie Sharp will be performing at Clwb Ifor Bach on Sunday 5th October.

Tom Rasmussen is a London-based artist and prominent figure in the LGBTQ+ community. Tom’s music fuses dark dance music with an aesthetic and live performance that takes influence from their past life in drag. It combines falsetto vocals and creates moments of queer euphoria. They have performed everywhere from the Royal Opera House to Glastonbury and have toured with the likes of Rina Sawayama and Self Esteem.

Alfie Sharp has been described by NME magazine as a ‘bona-fide soul star of tomorrow’. His debut single ‘Nostalgia’ released in 2019 gained him a number 2 iTunes r&b chart position. He went on to release his highly anticipated debut EP ‘Home Truths’ in 2024, fronted by Spotify as their RADAR first listen artist and gained industry-wide support from the likes of BBC introducing, Radio 1 and The Times.
