Introducing the Goon 10K Cryrun 2025. A fun 10K run using the Merthyr Tydfil taff trail from Cefn Coed to Ponsticill and back.
This event is the passion project of Goon Barbers, who have joined forces with Rival Fitness for this charity run, raising money for the Helpu, the men's mental health hub in Wales
Jordan Beecham (owner of Goon Barbers and CryRun organiseer) says:
Mens mental health is something that I hold very close to my heart knowing friends that have taken their lives and the countless people I see daily who are coping with their own struggles.

The run will start at 10am.
I must emphasise that while we are calling it a run, the overall aim is to raise money for charity, so regardless of your level, please feel free to signup, and take part whether you wish to run/walk/skip/cartwheel the route!
The £30 sign up fee and includes a free t-shirt before the race and a medal after the race. There will be refreshments available before and after the event with local food and drink vendors setting up pop ups at the event!
Men's mental health effects us. While we are raising money for the men in our lives, please know that the race is open to women and anybody who wants to take part to raise money.
