San Francisco’s, Deafheaven, have gained widespread acclaim for their groundbreaking 2013 debut’ Sunbather’, which redefined the margins of heavy metal, earning esteemed spots on Rolling Stone’s ‘100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time’ and Pitchfork’s ‘200 Best Albums of The 2010s’. The band have continued challenging genre conventions across a further four records. 2018s ‘Ordinary Corrupt Human Love’ garnered them their first-ever Grammy nomination, while 2021s ‘Infinite Granite’ continued their evolution and galvanised with a refinement pointed at lusher textures and lilting melodies.

Now they are back with their acclaimed 2025 full-length, ‘Lonely People With Power’, already a sure-fire contender for AOTY accolades.
