The 37th Cardiff Model Railway Exhibition will take place at the Sophia Gardens Cricket Ground Cardiff CF11 9XR on 1st & 2nd November 2025.
This year we have 20 layouts from large to small in various scales providing interest to both enthusiasts and families. We will feature a variety of trade stands selling new and second hand railway items, so beat the rising prices of model railways by buying your Christmas presents at the show.
Ticket price on the day is £10. Children under 15 are free but have to be accompanied by an adult.
Discounted early bird tickets are available for a 10% discount of £9 up until 30th October 2025. These are valid for either day and can be purchased from our website.

Re-live the past with the magnificent "Cardiff Canton Shed" diorama layout. Also the re-appearance in South Wales of the historic "Hardwick Grange" layout along with the award-winning "Horton Green" layout.
Two of our visiting layouts allow children to operate the trains from the front.
Limited on-site free undercover parking is available (75 places first come first served so get there early). Walk to the show through Bute Park from the city centre, or there are bus stops nearby and a number of pay-per-use car parks. Hot and cold refreshments (including a hot main meal option) will be available on both days.
