Sage VOICES Project: The Rhythm of Reflection

VOICES invites the community to this original theatre piece and intergenerational collaboration of Sage (aged 75+) storytellers and Youth (aged 12-15) performers.

Sage VOICES Project amplifies the voices of the Sages in our community through the eyes of the Youth. Sages aged 75 and up, and Youth between the ages of 12-15 engage in the process of devised theater to co-create an original theater piece inspired by their own stories. Through this process, the Sages and Youth form enduring relationships, spark each other’s creative spirit, and relish in the playfulness. The intergenerational ensemble explores possibilities of artistic collaborations through spoken words, movements, music, and theater making. Directed by Tom Cochran.

PERFORMANCES at Thunder River Theatre in Carbondale:

-Sat. May 24, 7 p.m.
-Sun. May 25, 2 p.m.
