Gingerbread House Contest

Break out the gingerbread, icing, and sweet decorations for your chance to taste victory in the 2025 Gingerbread House Contest at the Carbondale Branch Library! Register and compete on your own or as a team to build the most creative gingerbread structure. Supply kits may be picked up at the library starting Dec. 1. Completed designs must be dropped off at the library before the awards celebration on Sunday, Dec. 14 from 4 to 5 p.m. at the library. The celebration will have cookies, cider, and holiday music for everyone to enjoy while looking at the gingerbread houses and voting for their favorite design.
