Get your buddies together or fly solo and come create with us at our Art Cafe! Have an artistic skill you're wanting to develop this year? Need some space to decompress and craft? Time to vibe out and create some art! Making art is great for mental wealth and well being, we encourage you to join!

At the PHX Art Cafe you can create anything you imagine!

We have so many different materials and mediums to choose from! Have fun working on D.I.Y projects with talented local artists there to serve you the supplies you would like to use, and cheer you on along the way!

Painting at PHX is a classic way to have fun while getting creative. We have several sizes of canvases to choose from, as well as some pre-sketched canvas options if you would like. Whether you go for an abstract style, build skills on a landscape, explore identity through a self portrait, or create something else entirely, we are here to cheer you on and provide all the supplies you need to paint something beautiful!

Let the creativity flow with watercolor painting. This medium is really fun for layering color and playing with soft fluid blends of color. We have watercolor paper and palettes ready for you!

Oil Pastels are a super hands-on art medium, use your fingers to create vibrant color blends and gradients. You can also combine this medium with collage work to create some really unique works of art.

Charcoal has such a classic feel - enjoy time making art with this medium which is great for sketching, practicing shading, and building forms. This is a wonderful medium to play with and practice skills before creating a big painting, especially for portrait work.

Collage art is a great way to explore your creativity through cutting paper and playing with layering, design, and expression. Strengthen your creative muscles by making something new, using pre-existing words and images from magazines and more.

With a wide range of colors and styles of beads to choose from, you can create a wearable work of art! Customize your look by making a unique necklace, bracelet, earrings, or waist-beads.

Multimedia art can go so many different and exciting directions! Make a masterpiece using, glass, resin, crystals, seashells, painting, or some combination of other things - we are here to help your creative ideas bloom to life.

Making items from clay is fun! You could make a bowl, tea cup, garden gnome, plant pot, tic-tac-toe board, or anything else you can imagine! Once you've finished your clay creation you can leave it at phx to dry and then be fired in the kiln. This process usually takes around 2 weeks, then you can come back and glaze your clay creation during Art Cafe hours.

Want to paint a mug, bowl, or plate? The Pottery Painting experience if perfect for folks who want to use the glaze to paint a piece of pottery without having to build it from hand first. We have an array of pre-made clay items items to choose from, as well as many fun colors of glaze!

Resin art has a sleek glossy shine that really catches the eye! From coasters to charcuterie boards, mirrors to wooden butterflies, to tables, canvases, and more - resin has so many neat applications. You can also always level up your resin project by adding crystals, glass, dried flowers, and other materials.

Mosaics are great for indoor as well as outdoor art! Create garden stepping stones, patio side tables, an address sign for your home, a mirror, and more using the wide array of mosaic glass chips available at PHX.
