Back to School with Third Pillar

Our 12th year of community partnership to help prepare our youth for a year of academic challenges and fun!

Join us at 11 am to fill 808 backpacks with school supplies; at 1 pm we start distributing backpacks to students in Ward 7.

Our event is part of a larger celebration of learning that will include a DJ, food, and activities, coordinated with the MPD 6th District, East River Family Collaborative, Masjid Muhammad and the Gospel Ark Temple Church.

This is a family event - bring your children for a fun, meaningful afternoon.

We can make a difference.

Bags will also be distributed through Masjid Muhammad, the YMCA after school program, Don't Smoke Our Brothers and Sisters, Education Plus, and specific schools.
