Talk with Nick Sloane
In a remarkable twist of fate, Captain Nick Sloane, best known for leading the salvage of the Europa in Cape Town, fulfilled a lifelong dream and put his seamanship to the ultimate test. He joined the Europa once again, this time in Nouméa, New Caledonia, and set sail on a gruelling 53-day voyage around the infamous Cape Horn, eventually arriving in Port Stanley in the Falkland Islands.
