We’re hosting a one‑of‑a‑kind colour reduction lino printing workshop for members of The Printing Girls. Guided by Madelize and Sanet, you’ll take your lino printing skills beyond single‑colour work, learning how to create layered, multi‑colour prints from a single block.
At the same time, we’ll be hosting an exclusive exhibition of The Printing Girls’ prints in our Deckle Tiny Art Gallery for the entire month of October. The theme of the exhibition is “Hope”, and all proceeds from the sale of these works through our silent auction will go to supporting the amazing people and education work at Hope Town.
Enjoy a morning of connecting, learning, and expanding on your printing skills or showing them off while doing what you love alongside like‑minded creatives.
The Deckle Edge will spoil you with goodies and provide top art printing brands to use during the workshop, all included.
Spaces are limited to keep the experience personal and inspiring.
Join Madelize & Sanet for a slightly more advanced printing experience and take your single‑colour lino to the next level. In this session, you’ll discover colour reduction linocut printing. A relief printmaking method where one linoleum block is used to build up a beautiful multi‑colour image. With each new layer, more of the block is carved away, revealing fresh colours beneath. It’s called a reductive print because, as your image comes to life, the block is gradually destroyed, leaving each print as a one‑of‑a‑kind piece.
