Something Rotten JR! is part of our Summer 2025 Education Series and is performed by the cast of our 7th Summer Camp Session comprised of students ages 8 and up!
A hilarious musical comedy set in the Renaissance, where brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are struggling playwrights living in the shadow of the wildly popular William Shakespeare. Desperate for a hit, they consult a soothsayer who predicts that the future of theatre involves singing, dancing—and acting—all at once. The Bottom brothers set out to write the world’s very first musical, leading to outrageous mishaps, mistaken identities, and show-stopping numbers. Packed with clever wordplay and over-the-top fun, Something Rotten! JR is a joyful celebration of musical theatre itself!
