About this Event

There has been some concern over the last several years that the number of pollinators is declining. What can be done to increase the number of pollinators in our yards and neighborhoods?

One step to increase ther numbers is to provide them with the pollen and nectar they need for energy or rearing their young. In this presentation we will discuss plants that provide these to attract a wide variety of pollinator species.

Lauren Wainwright, an Extension Master Gardener Volunteer and member of the Crystal Coast Beekeepers Association, will talk about plants that provide nectar and pollen to a variety of insects that help to pollinate flowers and crops.
