Join us for a Coastal Restoration planting to help combat land degradation and restore these important ecosystems by bringing biodiversity and powerful ecosystem services to Manatee Sanctuary Park. We will be planting 150 native grasses and wildflowers along the upland as well as mangroves closer down into the water.
Parking will be located at the park. Please park close to the site. Please check back here for any updates as we approach the planting date.
Please bring sunscreen, a water bottle, appropriate planting clothes such as a hat, and be ready get your hands in the soil! We will provide some snacks and refreshments for volunteers.
