Join Jing Ying Institute of Kung Fu & Tai Chi as we march in the Cape St Claire Strawberry Festival Parade and then perform demos down at the community park/beach.
The parade starts at the Cape Saint Claire Firehouse (1411 Cape St. Claire Rd, Annapolis) at 10am (meet at 9:30am) and ends at the beach (1223 River Bay Road Annapolis). There are lots of vendors, bands and all kinds of fun for the whole family. Our demo is usually done before noon but the festival lasts until 7pm (some events may end earlier).
Bring a wagon for little ones to ride in and don't forget sunscreen, hats, and something to drink. To march in the parade, wear your Jing Ying shirt (wear a bathing suit underneath if you want to go swimming later).
If you are going to demo, please wear your full Jing Ying uniform. We will demo shortly after the parade ends.
Be sure to stop in at the CSC club house to buy some strawberry shortcake!! There's lots to for you to do after the demo.
Arrive early to find parking and then meet us at the CSC Fire Station parking lot . This year there is a "Berry Bus" that will help you get back to the firehouse area/Graul's from the community beach.

The parade is organized by the fine folks in the Cape St. Claire community, and it has been held for over 60 years!
