There are two types of auditions: performance and tech theatre.
Students who would like to may audition in both areas!

Performance students should prepare a monologue or a musical theatre song cut lasting approximately 60 seconds.

Tech theatre students should present a portfolio of your artwork (for example: costume designs, poster drawings, excerpts of your written work...) and be prepared to answer a few questions about your process and goals.

ABOUT ITS

ITS recognizes, rewards, and encourages student achievement and celebrates the work of students in all aspects of theatre – performance and production. Each student is honored on a national level and gains access to opportunities and resources beyond those of their schooling.

Members have the opportunity to study and compete in the following categories:

Acting • Choreography • Costume Construction • Costume Design • Directing • Makeup Design • Musical Theatre • One Act • Pantomime • Playwriting • Publicity • Scenic Design

ITS is a branch of the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA).
