Each year Pensacola Jeeps teams up with the Vietnam Vets Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club in a joint, police-escorted, convoy to the Pensacola Veterans Memorial Park. This event is the largest convoy we participate in each year and draws spectators all across town. Last year we had over 700 motorcycles and nearly 50 Jeeps in the convoy. Details below…
Meet up is at 9:30am at the Publix grocery store at the intersection of 9 Mile Rd & Beulah Rd. 8684 Beulah Rd, 32526.
We will conduct a short safety briefing and will rollout at 10am.
Pensacola Jeeps will then meet up with the Vietnam Vets / Legacy Vets MC at the American Legion Post 340 at 8890 Ashland Ave. All Jeeps are asked to park facing West on Bush St.
Please feel free to mingle at the Legion and support their concession stand and raffles. Bring cash!
The MC will conduct a safety & expectations brief before rolling out to Veterans Memorial Park at Noon.
This will be a police escorted convoy and to help offset the cost, the MC has asked each bike and each Jeep to donate $20. I’ll collect donations before we leave Publix.
Tops and doors off is highly recommended!
Wear your Pensacola Jeeps and/or Patriotic attire and fly those flags if you have them! Let’s show Pensacola how we do it!
Trail radios are not required but are encouraged. Channel 18 for Rugged radios or 462.625 for Baofeng.
Official ceremony at the wall starts at 1pm.
I’ll add more details as I get them.
