Overdose Awareness Day 2025

Stark County’s Overdose Awareness Committee invites you to join us August 16 for this rain or shine, family-friendly, free event. The event will start at the pavilion marked Stadium Shelter #5 at 11 a.m., but activities and speakers will be happening until 2 p.m. and you're free to join us anytime.

Enjoy a relatively flat less than 1-mile walk, two Story Walks by Stark Library (book displays), a reflection and remembrance area, speakers with lived experience, food, and more. There will be plenty of fellowship, resources, and community love. No pre-registration required but we'd love to know if you plan on coming by selecting "going" on this event.
