Blessing of the Animals

The First Presbyterian Church of Canton will be hosting its first ever Blessing of the Animals.

The tradition of the Blessing of the Animals originates with Saint Francis of Assisi in the 13th century, who founded the Franciscans and is known for his deep connection to animals and nature.

Please bring your animals to the open field located on the east side of the church to receive a blessing from Pastor Edwin.

We hope to see you and your animals there and to glorify God by blessing the creation of these animals.
