All About Horses

Experience life at an equine rescue! This camp is for future rescue warriors or anyone who wants to learn more about horses. Each morning will begin with barn chores and each afternoon will be dedicated to learning natural horsemanship techniques that our trainers use to prepare our horses for adoption. Campers will be taught everything from health and nutrition to how we start horses under saddle. What better way to safely ride a thousand-pound animal than to understand how it operates?

Your child will reap the benefits of learning all aspects of owning a horse as well as compassion to care for the unwanted and forgotten. Ages 9 and up are welcome. It’s $300 to participate with a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold your spot. This mini camp will also teach you the things you need to learn in order to be a volunteer.
