Give it a Go!

Come along to our free Give it a Go! family event where the kids can try a range of sports including rugby, football, judo, taekwondo, boxing, wrestling, cricket, wheelchair rugby, combat archery and more.

The event aims to encourage active lifestyles and greater well-being through sport, and is open to all abilities and ages from four to 18 years old.

There will be organisations from the emergency services, food and drink options, as well as health and wellbeing and community safety stalls to take any questions.

A dedicated quiet zone will also be available for children with special educational needs and disabilities on the ground floor of the Kent MS Centre.

Taking place on Saturday 12 July 2025 between 10am and 4pm at Canterbury Rugby Club.

A free bus service will run every 30 minutes from 9.30am from Canterbury bus station to the rugby club, and the last bus leaving the rugby club will be 4.30pm.
