Canterbury Paddle

Members are invited to join this easy but beautiful paddle for kayaks and SUPs. We will start in the centre of Canterbury and go through the Venice-like waterways, under low bridges and buildings. You will need to kneel (or lie) on your SUP for most of the bridges! There maybe a few punts to dodge.

It is a linear route, so we will paddle around Canterbury then paddle up the Great Stour towards Chilham. We will stop on the bank for picnic lunch before paddling back; so the length of the paddle can be flexible depending on the weather/ water conditions/ consensus of the group. It is all sheltered river.
