The FDRC & South East Trec are running a One Day Full Affiliated TREC Competition on: Saturday September 20th. 2025
This will consist of three phases :
The MA - Control of Paces at Walk/ Canter on a 150m track
The PTV - Riding a course of 16 Obstacles
The POR - Orienteering Level 1- up to 15 km / Level 2 up to 20km
Classes 1 & 2 are Level 1 - suitable for newcomers & experienced TREC Riders
Classes 3 & 4 are Level 2 - suitable for all but POR Route is longer.
There is are special Newcomers awards in each class.
You can ride as an individual or as a pair.
The POR & MA will take place on grass with the POR (Orienteering) being mainly along quiet lanes, woodland tracks and farmland.
HELPERS:
We would love all of you to compete but TREC competitions take lots of helpers to run and it would be wonderful if some of you who are not competing could come & help us run it. No experience needed as all will be explained on the day.
Tea/coffee and a packed lunch & chocolate provided.
Most tasks would not be more than 4.5 - 5 hours.
