Free Yoga Day

Free Yoga Day is a monthly open-doors event at Isha Yoga Center LA. On this day, we offer a variety of free sessions dedicated to educating and empowering each individual to take charge of their wellbeing.

Free Yoga Day Schedule:

9:00 - 9:45 AM - Introduction to Yoga
No age restriction

This free introductory talk offers either an introduction to:

• What is Inner Engineering, what are its benefits and how can I bring it into my life? This 1-hour session offered by an Isha Yoga instructor will delve into the science of Inner Engineering, a technology for wellbeing derived from the science of Yoga, and answer any questions you may have.

Classical Hatha Yoga as a holistic process of achieving mastery over the body and mind, leading to a state of health, joy, and bliss.

10:00 - 11:15 AM - Yoga For Success
Ages 12+, please bring your own mat

Simple but potent yoga practices to foster success in all aspects of life and Chit Shakti (means ‘Power to Create’) Meditation for Success.

11:45 AM - 12:30 PM - AUMkar Meditation
Ages 7+

The sound AUM is the very root of physical creation. Daily utterance of AUM fosters balance and stability in your body and mind.

12:45 - 1:30 PM - Healthy Cooking Class
No age restriction

In this practical, fun and interactive session, explore food from a yogic perspective, foster awareness of what you put in your body, and learn about amazing foods that support a healthy body and stable mind.

2:00 - 3:00 PM - Meditation for Mental Health
Ages 12+

This session offers simple yet powerful practices to improve your mental health and to bring you clarity, joy and wellbeing.
