Cannock Chase Dawn Chorus Walk - 11th May 2025

Join us for a dawn chorus walk around some amazing heathlands, woodlands, and park land. We will hear a multitude of different birds, singing their hearts out. Our expert Rangers will be on hand to help ID each bird call and talk you through the different ways we look after Cannock Chase, for the species on site. We will take you through the cattle grazing area, to explain why we have cows on Cannock Chase and the amazing work they do. And, if we are lucky, we will witness the sun rising over Furnace Coppice! After the walk, we will head back for continental style breakfast snacks (included) and hot drinks (included).

Meeting time: 4.45am. Meeting at Cannock Chase Visitor Centre. Booking a place is essential.
