Tree Planting with CYAN

Join the Canmore Young Adult Network and Urban Forest Initiative for a meaningful day of community and connection as we plant 280 trees on Stoney Nakoda land in Mini Thni. This is a volunteer-powered event supported by the Wim & Nancy Pauw Foundation, and we’re hoping to gather at least 20 awesome young adults to dig in and make a difference.

🌿 What’s included:
– Light lunch & water
– All tools and materials
– Transportation to and from the planting site (return approx. 3:30 PM — subject to change depending on group size)

This is a great opportunity to spend time outdoors, learn about reforestation efforts, and be part of something that gives back to the land and community. No experience necessary — just bring a good attitude, sturdy shoes, and a willingness to get your hands a little dirty.

Event may be subject to cancellation if we do not receive enough registrations, so please register ahead by July 15 to secure your spot.
