SINGLE CLASS - Playful Landscapes: Painting Workshop

Discover mixed media drawing and immerse yourself in the beauty of the Bow Valley while exploring a playful, process-driven approach to drawing landscapes. In this welcoming and experimental class, we’ll work together from a shared image of a local scene—an invitation to discover how differently we each see and respond to the same view. Want to bring your own inspiration? You're welcome to work from a printed image of a favorite place instead.

Through guided exercises and hands-on exploration, you’ll learn how to combine intricate linework, layered textures, and intuitive mark-making using a variety of mixed media on paper. Emphasis will be placed on experimentation, embracing accidents, and enjoying the process rather than aiming for perfection. This is a space for curiosity, creativity, and connection—with the landscape and with your own unique way of seeing. Beginners welcome!
