We’re back! The Thomas Haney Craft Fair, the largest student run craft fair in B.C., is returning for its 3rd consecutive year back to the community after the pandemic. We've grown this year and will feature over 160 vendors from across BC at our event. The 2025 craft fair will be held on Saturday November 22nd and Sunday November 23rd for the hours of 10:00 am – 4:00 pm at Thomas Haney Secondary School (23000 116 Ave, Maple Ridge, BC).
Thomas Haney Food Truck Festival, this year at the THSS Craft Fair and Food Truck Festival on site we will have 10+ food trucks! Joining us from last year will be Mobile mini-doughnuts, Texas Smoke BBQ, Flavour Junction, Kona Ice, and Rolled West Coast. New to this year will be The Mad Greek, Odd Burger, The DOG Father, On wheels Food Corner, Bad Mash Cafe.
All money collected from the THSS Craft Fair and Food Truck Festival goes directly to benefit our school. For example, just last year we we’re able to give out $2,500 dollars of scholarships using our leadership based Happening Citizenship Award, donated $10,000 dollars to our Tech department for the purchase of new equipment, donated $2,000 to our gardening club to replace stolen power tools and donated a complete set of storage bins and a new event cart for our student council. Just this year, we bought a large format multimedia printer for the Tech Department here at our school worth $25,000 and this upcoming year we will be contributing at least $4,000 towards scholarships. We use this event to improve not only our community but also our school.
New additions for the 2025 THSS Craft Fair:
1) Seating area, need to take a break and grab a bite to eat? We are including a lower floor seating area across from the cafeteria that will include more tables and chairs.
2) Maps, we will be handing out site maps at the front entrance of the event so that you can easily find any vendors you may be looking for or to find your way around.
Returning additions for the 2025 THSS Craft Fair:
1) Bags, plan on shopping and don’t want your hands full? Purchase a craft fair branded bag made from recycled materials for $1.50 or purchase a canvas tote bag designed by local Indigenous artists for $10.
2) Vendor item raffle, thanks to generous product donations from our vendors we’ll be having a vendor item raffle. Tickets will start at 1 for $3, 3 for $5 and 10 for $10. Draws to be held on Sunday November 23rd at 3:00 pm.
3)Thomas Haney Thunder Culinary Program, our culinary program is ready to serve all our guests at this year's craft fair. Their menu will feature soups, sandwiches, paninis, pastries and various coffee products. They’ll be featured on our lower level with a dining/seating area.
