OPENING CEREMONY FIS Para Cross-Country World Cup - CANMORE 2025

Please join us for the Opening Ceremony! We will welcome our visiting teams, our own Canadian team members, as well as local dignitaries and indigenous performers.

Each year on December 3, communities around the world recognize the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD). It's a day to honour achievements, spark conversations about accessibility, and build a more inclusive world. Following the Opening Ceremony for the FIS Para Cross-Country World Cup, a Resource Fair will be set up inside the Canmore Civic Centre. From 5-6:30pm you can explore local organizations supporting the disability community and discover resources, adaptive recreation opportunities, and community services. Enjoy light refreshments, conversation, games and networking in an inclusive, welcoming environment.
