Experience Golden Larches on a Guided Hike to Taylor Lake

Join us for a full-day guided adventure to Taylor Lake, a stunning alpine destination where golden larches line the shore against a dramatic mountain backdrop. This moderate-to-challenging hike climbs steadily through lush forest before opening up to sweeping views of Panorama Ridge and Mount Bell - a perfect spot to soak in the magic of larch season.

Your journey will be led by experienced guides from White Mountain Adventures, ensuring a safe, informative, and fun experience.

HIKE DETAILS

• Distance: 13 km round trip
• Elevation Gain: ~800 m
• Trail Rating: Challenging - a steady, uphill climb

TRANSPORTATIONTransportation is included! The group will meet at Coast Hotel in Canmore for pickup and drop-off.

SCHEDULE

• 8:45 AM – Guides arrive at Coast Hotel Canmore
• 9:00 AM – Meet participants, complete waivers, and depart for trailhead
• 9:45 AM – Begin hike at Taylor Lake trailhead
• 4:15 PM (latest) – Depart trailhead
• 5:00 PM – Return to Canmore

WHAT TO BRING

• Lunch and snacks (not provided)
• Minimum 2 litres of water - no potable water available on trail or at the trailhead
• Weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy hiking footwear
• Small backpack to carry your essentials
